Purchased to serve as the headquarters for The National Society of the Colonial Dames in America in the State of Missouri, the Linden House is located at 116 South Main Street, just across the street from the Bolduc House. It was built in around 1820 as you can see when you locate the Linden House on the diorama in the Amoreaux House owned by the State of Missouri. The house received a substantial addition later in the nineteenth century. Today it serves as the Museum’s offices, shop, and library. |
