Frequently Asked Questions What constitutes a group? A group is when five or more families register together. What if our group is an informal one without a name? There is a place on our Sign Up Form for you to name your group. Choose a name for your group and make sure that each family that is in your group calls it by the same name. Can we name a group, get the group rates, and recruit other families between now and October 8th? Yes. We will keep track of the number of families who name each group as their own. In the event that a group does not end up with a minimum of five families, we will notify the designated contact person before adjusting the bill. How much does it cost to register? There are several different ways to calculate the cost with discounts for early bird and advance registration, as a family, with a group, or as individuals. Open the link to the Sign Up Form to see the different options. Are we able to register at the door? Yes. However, there are no discounts if you register at the door and if you are interested in any of the optional fee-based classes there may not be room if you wait until October 9th to tell us you are coming. What options does Ste. Genevieve have if our family chooses to stay overnight? There is a Microtel Hotel on Highway 32, and camping at the nearby Hawn State Park. Ste. Genevieve also has several very nice Bed & Breakfasts which are appropriate for smaller families with older children. If I take advantage of the early bird or advance registration options and later discover that we cannot attend, is there a refund policy? Yes, refunds are available until October 8th. A small processing fee will be charged. It is explained in the brochure (above) and on the Sign Up Form. Do we have to be a homeschooling family to attend? Everyone is welcome. This is the perfect opportunity to network with homeschoolers if you are considering that option for your family.
